“ I had no chance to grab any pictures that's how tasty these things are I grabbed a box of pastries and some bread they had bagged up... chefs kiss the stuffed rolled filled croissants (not exact name) delicious!!! Absolutely my favorite and don't even get me started on the matcha if you are a matcha lover this is one place to try but aside from the wonderful bakery it's located inside the most gorgeous shop! Definitely stop by if your in La Jolla for an amazing variety of bread, deserts, pastries, drinks/lattes, and sandwiches Also don't forget to check out the baking classes the occasionally have! ”
“ Jonathan was wonderful. He was able to make my favorite Mediterranean salad and brought our warmed bread out to complement it. He was prompt and courteous. We are coming back for more of the great food and excellent service. The Floral Palette store is a wonderful touch too! ”
“ These pastries are absolutely stunning and delicious! I've tried a variety of their croissants, cakes, pastries, and even savory sandwiches, and everything has been incredible. It's truly a hidden gem I recommend to everyone. The treats are beautifully crafted, making them perfect for any special occasion or dinner. We also love popping in with the kids for a little indulgence. Plus, they're kosher, which is a bonus! ”
“ Incredible desserts and pastries! We were back within a week of our first time in because I couldn't stop thinking about it. Fresh, light, balanced flavors and so many unique creations. You navigate an adorable shop to get to the bakery in the back but you can smell the fresh pastries from the sidewalk, follow your nose! There are bistro style tables inside and out with 2-4 chairs each, so not great for larger groups but lovely to sit outside if there's space. When you walk in the bakery the kitchen is exposed so you can watch the chefs busy at work which I think is fascinating. The Raspberry Rose Croissant is my top pastry recommendation - it was divine, both airy and crunchy with the perfect balance of flavors. The Fig and Mascarpone Danish and Strawberry Nutella Danish are lovely but I wish they had fruit all throughout. My top cake recommendation is Le Royal - a chocolate hazelnut cake with a perfectly crunchy underside that I am baffled was not at all soggy. The Raspberry Chocolate Mousse Tarte had a wonderful balance of raspberry to dark chocolate, and not too dark. We will absolutely be back. Lots. ”
“ Not overrated and it's damn amazing! Yea I admit I'm not a big fan of fancy eatery and ambiance since this place is smacked on the middle of Richie Rich's Hallmark store. Plus, all of the Tik Tok vids about their croissants makes me think of the overrated emblem lol, but I was dead wrong. Their croissants were one of the best I ever tasted. My girl and I ordered their pistachio and strawberry/ Lychee croissants. Omg, whoever owns this place; please adopt me so I can have an unlimited supply of these goodness :) Both of the croissants are crispy on the outside and gooey in the inside with that sinful fillings. I cannot spot biting these flaky goodness :) Overall, I would go back here again in an instant :) ”
“ Cute little baking with great choices to fit whatever you are craving. I ordered a few options to share with the family and take home. Service was quick and friendly. Overall great experience. ”
“ We had the absolute pleasure of experiencing the kindness and culinary brilliance of Chef Annie at Parisien Gourmandises. From the moment we reached out, Chef Annie went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs. She worked closely with us to create custom latkes and donuts that were not only allergen-safe but also an absolute treat to the tastebuds! The level of care and empathy she showed in ensuring our safety was truly exceptional. We even had a special filling prepared for the donuts, and every detail was perfectly thought out. On the day of pickup, we couldn't go inside, but one of the staff members (I wish I could remember their name!) kindly brought our pastries right to the door. The kindness, compassion, and attention to detail truly made the experience feel special. As for the food -- WOW. The donuts were unlike any I've ever had before. They had a perfectly crispy exterior and a delicately soft, pillow-like interior with brilliant flavor. The raspberry filling was bursting with vibrant flavors and delightful textures. And the latkes -- unreal. Thick, warm, and crispy, they were full of flavor and absolute perfection. Thank you, Chef Annie, for not only delivering delicious creations but also ensuring our safety. We are so grateful for the thoughtful experience and will definitely be back for more of your incredible treats. We love your creations and can't wait to try more! ”
“ I discovered this place in IG. Located in this shop that reminds of paper source meets Anthropologie. It is tucked in the back of the store. They sell breads, pastries, cakes, sandwiches and drinks. They are only open M-F. There is seating available inside and out is is limited. They are friendly and helpful. We tried the fig and mascarpone danish. The strawberry Nutella danish and a matcha latte. The matcha latte was thick. I probably should have opted for more sweetener. My girls enjoyed the strawberry Nutella danish. The fig and mascarpone danish was tasty. The baked goods here are on the pricier end. Overall was really happy to try this place. I would return to try other things on their menu. ”
“ Very busy on a weekday morning but line moves quickly. Got the chocolate strawberry spiral croissant and match strawberry croissant. Both were heavy in a good way! Filled with a light flavor cream and fruit, truly delicious. Each bite had a perfect combo of sweetness from the cream, tang from the fresh fruit, and buttery flakey goodness from the croissant itself. While waiting in line, we saw a fly land on some pastries and made sure not to opt for those. Can only hope they didn't land on the ones we ended up with but that's the con of open pastry displays. Would come back to try other delicacies. ”
“ When I parked in front of this business to go to the yoga studio across the street, I knew that I would be coming back afterwards for coffee and pastries. There was no denying the siren song of carbs and caffeine with a cute storefront. The interior of this bakery was a little confusing. There was just kind of a crowd of people standing around and I couldn't tell where the line began or ended. Didn't have to wait long though before someone greeted me to take my order. I got a quiche and a latte which I had there and took home a pistachio filled croissant. The latte was good, standard, but nothing to rave about. The quiche (didn't take a pic of it) was delicious, but I thought it was kind of strange that it wasn't heated up before it was served to me. When I got home, I split the pistachio croissant with my man. The pastries here are very good. Probably one of the best I have had in San Diego. I'm always searching for delicious croissants and don't understand why the United States doesn't seem to be able to serve croissants on par with any other country in the world that I have been to. It was crispy and flaky with just the lightest hint of butter. I was surprised at the amount of filling in this croissant. It was almost kind of like a doughnut. Not sure I would get this exact one again. I was totally staring down the fruit and cheese, danishes, and some of the cream cheese stuffed croissants. Basically anything with cheese.... That's what I should've gotten! ”
